Growing up in a kiasu society like Singapore, we treat our timetables like tetris. Wherever there is empty space, we rush to fill it in, all for the pursuit of a ‘higher score’ — a padded portfolio or a more ‘successful’ life. Take a Break encourages people to appreciate the empty spaces in their timetables. Rest is an important part of growth, too.
